Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also Director of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name is often credited for beginning the current research into the study of witness memory as well as child victims as witnesses in lawful situations. Professor Goodman who is a prolific author with numerous papers and awards to her credit she is also the winner of numerous national and global awards. She has worked with a variety of organisations and governments all over the world to conduct research and policies relating to children who have been people who are victims of the law. She is a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She was a part of numerous professional organizations, including that of Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division and Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family policy and practice.
